Please be advised:
The Greater Los Angeles CFC and the SoCal Tri-County CFC’s are merging into a new CFC and this merger will be effective for the 2012 application process. Once the new merger is completed we will advise you regarding the application process—application instructions, due dates and where to send your completed application. We are expecting this merger process to be completed by mid February. The Greater Los Angeles Federal Executive Board has issued a Request For Proposal for the management of the newly merged CFC of Greater Los Angeles and SoCal Tri-Counties CFC. The newly merged CFC (GLA/SCT CFC) will cover Los Angeles, Orange, parts of Riverside, San Bernardino and Kern counties.
Once the PCFO (Principal Combined Fund Organization) contract has been awarded, you will receive complete instructions from the PCFO for the GLA/SCT CFC on the eligibility process. This will include: application deadline, instructions, who to contact with questions and for assistance with completing the application, where and to whom the application should be sent, etc.
What does this mean to you? In general, you will complete and submit only one application to participate in the GLA/SCT CFC.
If you have questions please contact Kathrene Hansen Executive Director of the Federal Executive Board at 562-951-6970 or kathrene.hansen@dhs.gov
